Welcome to Skotbiscuit’s Carving Workshop, operated by Skotbiscuit’s Carved Arts Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, community, and courses. By subscribing to our platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not subscribe or access our services.
Refund Policy.
• Full refund available – no questions asked.
• Refund requests accepted within 10 days of purchase, please just email [email protected] to request a full refund.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
2. Services Provided
We offer a membership-based platform where users ("Members") can access a library of digital carving courses and participate in our online community for the duration of their membership.
3. Membership and Subscription
- Subscription Plans: You can subscribe to Skotbiscuit’s Carving Workshop through a monthly or annual subscription. The membership grants you access to all courses and community features for the duration of your active subscription.
- Automatic Billing: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time, but you will not continue to have access until the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for partial months or unused periods.
Cancellation: If you cancel your membership, you will lose access to all courses and the community at the end of your billing cycle. Upon termination, you will no longer have any rights to use any content provided through our platform.
- Failed Payments and Subscription Cancellation
If your payment fails, we will notify you via email, and Stripe will automatically retry the payment up to 8 times over a period of 3 weeks. During this time, you will lose access to the community. If payment is not successfully resolved within three weeks from the first failed attempt, your membership will be canceled, and access to the community and courses will be revoked.
If you wish to rejoin after cancellation, a new subscription will need to be created, please reach out via email to create a new account
.4. Account Creation and Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and subscribe.
- By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep this information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
- We reserve the right to terminate accounts or refuse service to anyone who provides false information, shares their account or login or violates these Terms.
5. Course Access and Content Usage.
This ensures clarity while respecting your students’ privacy. Let me know if you’d like further adjustments!- Members will have access to all courses and the community features for as long as their subscription remains active.
- No Downloading: All content, including videos, guides, and community discussions, is for online viewing only. You may not download, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any course material or content found in the community.
- Prohibited Actions: You must not share, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any course content without prior written permission from us. Violations of this policy may result in immediate termination of your subscription and/or legal action.
6. Ownership of Content
- All materials, including but not limited to course videos, guides, and community posts, are owned by Skotbiscuit’s Carved Arts Ltd. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content solely for personal, non-commercial use.
- Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or sharing of our content may lead to the termination of your account and legal action for copyright infringement.
7. Community Guidelines
Our community is a space for learning, sharing, and respect. There is a pinned post around these rules in the community By participating in our community, you agree to follow these rules:
- Be respectful towards other members. Bullying, harassment, or offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Do not spam or promote any third-party products, services, or links within the community.
- Moderation: We reserve the right to moderate community content and remove posts or users that violate these guidelines. Members who repeatedly violate these rules will be removed from the platform, and their membership may be terminated without a refund.
Illegal Activities
-Members are strictly prohibited from discussing, promoting, or engaging in any illegal activities within the community. This includes, but is not limited to, the discussion of actions or behaviors that violate local, national, or international laws. Any such discussions will result in immediate removal from the community, and your membership may be terminated without refund.
- Use of student artwork, comments and feedback.
By participating in our courses and community, you agree that we may occasionally use images of your artwork and comments you share within the community for marketing and promotional purposes. These materials will always be used anonymously, without personally identifying information, unless we have obtained your explicit consent.
8. Safety and Disclaimer of Liability
- Our courses and materials provide detailed safety guidelines and standalone safety guides to help you use tools responsibly. You agree to watch in full the ‘Hand tools safety and use’ course before engaging in carving.
- Disclaimer: Skotbiscuit’s Carved Arts Ltd is not responsible whatsoever for any injuries, accidents, death or damages to oneself, property or business or reputation resulting from the improper use of tools or materials guidance, demonstrations accessed in our courses or community. All tools should be used in accordance with our safety guidelines and your local laws. You assume full and entire responsibly for your safety and the safety of those around you while accessing skotbiscuit’s carved workshop online. By participating in these courses, you confirm that you are in good health prior to starting and understand that carving activities may carry a risk of injury or could potentially contribute to the development or aggravation of medical conditions.
- Member Responsibility: You assume full responsibility for the safe use of any tools or materials during and after completing our courses. We are not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur.
- If you are unsure about the use of any tool or technique, please consult a professional or refer to our safety guidelines before proceeding.
9. Ezycourse Platform
Our services are hosted on the Ezycourse platform. By using our services, you also agree to comply with Ezycourse's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Ezycourse may suspend or terminate your access if you violate their terms. We are not responsible for actions taken by Ezycourse regarding platform management or breaches of their terms.
10. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in behavior that we deem inappropriate or harmful to the community.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skotbiscuit’s Carved Arts Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription during the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. By accepting our T&Cs you also acknowledge you have read and understood the privacy policy,
13. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes related to your use of our services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of the UK.
